The Brief

For Coventry University, I created an educational animation for a multi-stakeholder healthcare project involving several universities and the NHS. The brief required producing engaging animated content to promote understanding of newborn screening tests and support the launch of 'You Decide'—an interactive public engagement activity developed with healthcare policy makers. The animation needed to communicate complex genetic testing information for cystic fibrosis screening in an accessible, compassionate way that would facilitate public understanding and informed decision-making.

The Process

My animation production and character design work began with understanding the sensitive nature of newborn screening and the importance of clear communication in healthcare education. The project required creating approachable, expressive characters that would help audiences connect with complex medical information.

Character Design & Rigging
