The Brief
I created an educational animation for Coventry University’s Nursing Associate degree module, making evidence-based practice accessible and understandable for students. The project required transforming complex academic course content into engaging animated content that would resonate with Nursing Associates while maintaining educational rigor and meeting specific learning objectives.
The Process
My animation production and educational content development began with collaborating with an academic team to develop the script. Working from expert course content, I ensured the animation would meet the target audience's needs through engaging visual storytelling and clear information design.
The production process included:
Scriptwriting & Content Development: Collaborated with academics to adapt course content for an animated format
Storyboard Development: Created detailed storyboards mapping visual sequences to educational objectives
Character Animation & Motion Graphics: Produced engaging visuals that simplified evidence-based practice concepts
Educational Video Production: Designed animation specifically for Nursing Associate learning requirements.
The Result
